Welcome Lord and Lady

Recite Baneful Tune (optional)

Stand in goddess position then switch arms to V overhead.

Say:

                 Great Hecate, Queen of the underworld,

Protectoress of All Witches

It is my will on this night of the new moon

To overcome my shadows and bring about change

I invite youe to my circle

To assist and protect me in my rite

Stand in God Position

Say:

                 Great Anubis, God of protection,

It is my will on this night of the new moon

To overcome my shadows and bring about change

I invite youe to my circle

To assist and protect me in my rite

Put Hands straight out palms up

Say

                 Dark is the night as I reach this turning point

                 Here is time of death, yet a time of rebirth.

                 Endings and beginnings, ebbings and flowings.

                 A journey done and a journey yet to start

                 As the wheel turns I see birth, death, and rebirth.

                 And I know that every end is a beginning.

Meditate –

remember a time when you were miserable, depressed, felt like you couldn’t go on. Let the painful memories overtake you, feel yourself weaken and become frightened. Put yourself back in that pain filled time in your life. As you meditate, sink to the floor and curl up in the fetal position.

You are completely obsessed by pain and depression. The shadows lengthen and darkness spreads.

Then Arise!

Light your white candle then lifted it high over your head.

Say:

                 In darkness there is light!

                 I feel Energy and life returning to me.

                 I feel my heartbeat strong

                 I feel the power of the universe

                 And the power of the Goddess and the God within me

Chant as you do below

                 Let the light cast the darkness out.

Pass the candle over your body, tuning into the light completely. Feel its cleansing, healing properties

Allow it to protect you.

Return to Altar

Meditate on Life and Death, the Dark Goddess’s Gifts in life, ETC.

Do any Magick you Wish

Cakes and Ale

Thank and Dismiss the Gods and Quarters

Close the Circle.

Everything in the circle is touched by moonlight, See it and feel it.

Know that this is the Goddess

Fill yourself with this light, the light of the goddess.

Dance or sing or do what you wish to celebrate the goddess.

When exhausted, sit and meditate on the goddess and her gifts.

Invoke the Goddess (optional, this is for experienced folks only)

Take a pen and paper and write down anything that comes to mind

 

Next do any magick you wish.
