Pre Ritual 1a. Take a ritual bath for at least 30 minutes Be silent Play soothing purifying music. Make it personal time. Allow no distractions. Get a sitter if you have to. 2. Read the ritual over several times so you don’t have to refer to it every time you turn around. 3. As a coven, select the site. 4a. Maiden and any volunteers clean the site b. When coven gets to the ritual site, have drinks and a snack. 7. Spend 45 mins in a social. 8. HP and HPS lead a 5 minutes grounding before the ritual
Circle Preparation Information 1. Select a site that is away from disturbances 2. Select a site that is in the environment you want (if possible) 3. Mark the size of the circle out in some fashion 4. Mark the quadrants as best as it can be done
Cleansing the circle area 1.. light a cedar or pine incense and walk around the circle Lord and lady I cleanse the ground to be my circle round energies of the past be gone before my circle is cast 2 repeat the previous step nine times
The Altar 1. Cleanse all tools well prior to ritual 2. Set the altar up as specified in Grimiore 3. Make sure both the HPS and the HP touch all the ritual items. 4 HP takes things of air to the air segment of the circle 5. HP takes things of fire to the fire segment of the circle 6. HPS takes things of water to the water segment of the circle 7. HPS takes things of earth to the earth segment of the circle 8. HP marks the gateway of the circle. 9. HPS places the cakes an ale in spot out of the way yet easy to reach at the right time |

Circle Opening and Calling the Elements 1. HPS stands facing west, HP facing east HPS/HP Together we stand ready To work this time by land, sky and sea 2. HPS takes the sword or athame and the center candle, then moves to the air quadrant and lights the air candle HPS spirit of the east, element of air HP powers of the mind and imagination Coven found in clouds and skyward lairs HPS we invite you to our ritual location 5. HPS takes the wand and the center candle, then moves to the fire quadrant and lights the fire candle HPS spirit of the south, element of fire HP powers of desire and purification Coven found in volcanoes and balefire HPS we invite you to our ritual location 6. HPS takes the chalice and the center candle, then moves to the water quadrant and lights the water candle HPS spirit of the west, element of water HP powers of dreams and emotion Coven found in oceans, rivers, and fever HPS we invite you to our ritual location 7. HPS takes the salt or pentacle and the center candle, then moves to the earth quadrant and lights the earth candle HPS spirit of the north, element of earth HP powers substance and maturation Coven found in hills, land, and nature's growth HPS we invite you to our ritual location

Cakes and Ale 1. HP takes food to altar 2. HPS waves wand over cakes HPS Lord and Lady bless this meal With your divine power seal HP And in your eyes we understand That for this food life ended from sea and land Coven to give us life and energy We are great for their gifts to us 3. HP takes a piece of bread from a loaf and then passes it to the HPS HP May you never hunger From one end of life unto the other 4. HPS takes a piece of bread and recites the same line and the bread is passed around. 5. Each person takes a piece and says the line as they pass it on 6. HP takes up chalice 7. HPS waves wand over it HPS Lord and Lady bless this chalice HP into the future and into the past Coven and may we receive refreshment And may we receive eternal refreshment 8. HP takes a sip from the chalice and then passes it to the HPS HP May you never thirst Of you can flee from life first 9. HPS takes sip from the chalice and recites the same line and the bread is passed around. 10. Each person takes sip from the chalice and says the line as they pass it on 11. Each person hold up a hand Coven We are grateful for the fruits of the earth. 12. Dedicate a piece of bread, some grain, or other plant material by placing it on a plate on the altar 13. Each person hold up a hand Coven we are grateful for the animals who have 14. Dedicate a small piece of fat or other meat.
