Full Moon Group Ritual

1.              Cleanse and prepare the ritual area

2.              Cast the circle

3.              Call the elements

4.              Call the goddess and the god
5.              Draw down the moon as specified in that ritual.

6.              The High Priestess draws the Invoking Pentagram of Earth in the air with the wand and says as the Goddess:

                         HPS:                         Of the Mother darksome and divine
Mine the athame, and mine the kiss;
The five point star of love and bliss
Here I charge you in this sign.

7.                      The goddess speaks. Listen and take note of what she says.

8.                      Goodbye to the Goddess

The High Priest faces the Priestess and says:

                         HP:                           We thank you Our Lady for attending our rites.
W      you farewell till next we call you.
Blessed Be.

         ALL:                         (Read the charge of the goddess aloud )

The High Priest and High Priestess face the altar.

                         HP:                           Great God Cernunnos, return to Earth again!
Come to my call and show thy self to us.
Shepherd of Goats, upon the wild hill's way,
Lead thy lost flocks from darkness unto day.
Forgotten are the ways of sleep and night
We seek for them, whose eyes have lost the light.
Open the door of dreams, whereby we come to thee.
Shepherd of Goats, O answer unto me!

9.              Pause and wait in silence. There may come a sound, an outward sign or inner vision. When you feel the time is right, end the period of silence by bowing towards the altar and saying:

                         All:                           O Goddess Queen of Night,
O Horn'd One of might,
In earth and sky and sea
May peace and blessing be!

Here is a time of death, yet a time of rebirth.

9.              Each person remembers a time in their life when they were miserable, depressed and felt like they couldn't go on. Let the painful memories overtake them, feeling them weaken and become frightened. Put themselves back in that pain-filled time in your life.

10.            When the pain is strongest, then have everyone rise.

11.            Light your white candle and hold it high overhead.

I feel energy and life returning to me!

12.                    Pass the candle to each person, letting them fill with the light.

                         HP:                           Light fills each of us, its rays penetrate our pain. Our pain is gone, our pain is used. We need it no more. Be gone pain and free us from your grip. We are healed and whole.

Call to Diana

 

Diana of the rounded moon,

The Queen of all enchantments here,

The wind is crying through the trees,

And we invoke thee to appear.

The cares of day departed are,

The realm of might belongs to thee;

And we in love and kinship

join With all things wild and free.

As powers of magic round us move,

Now let time's self dissolve and fade.

Here in the place between the worlds

May we be one with nature made.

Thy consort is the Horn'd One,

Whose sevenfold pipes make music sweet.

Old Gods of life and love and light,

Be here as merrily we meet!

For ye the circle's round we tread,

And unto ye the wine we pour;

The sacred Old Ones of this land,

By magic moon and pagan spell,
